[resolved] Filtering on two columns not working (4 posts)

Hi Tobias, I am quite knew to this plug-in and don't know PHP at all.

I did manage to add extension number 6 to allow filtering and notice that you can filter on more than one column. I can't get it to work.

I can filter on either of the columns successfully but when I put them together, I get no rows returned.

The short code I am using is: [table id=3 filter="Sony&&32" /] it returns no rows

    If I use [table id=3 filter="Sony" /] then it works great as does [table id=3 filter="22" /]

Any help you can give will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Graham

    Hi Graham,

    thanks for your question.

Just recently I have seen this problem, and the reason were the &&, when being used in the "Visual editor" on the "Edit" screen of a post/page. Can you check if the Shortcode looks the same in the "HTML editor"? Likely, the & appears as & there, which breaks the Shortcode.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    HI Tobias

That was it. The Visual Editor has tripped me up before. Should have known ; )

I went in and added my short codes in HTML and they worked as expected.

Thanks for your help, and for the great plug-in.

    Graham
