WP-Table Reloaded
Fancy Features not working (4 posts)

The features were working on the site at one point, and now they are not. (Fancy features meaning search, filter, sort, etc.)

I have a feeling it's related to the jquery.

I don't know if this matters or not, but two things happened that could have broken it.

    1) originally the site was built under an IP address (instead of a named URL). This was to keep the old site live, and then cutover the domain name to the new site once we rolled out. I'm wondering if the naming may mess something up (even though the IP number is still going to the correct place).

    2) I installed W3 Total Cache. I know that does some minifying. But even after deactivating and uninstalling the plugin, WP Tables Reloaded is still broken.

    Please help!

    The site is: http://donatelife.net

A good page with a table on it is: http://donatelife.net/local-contacts/

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post.

This is indeed related to changing the URL from an IP address to a domain name.
Basically you are suffering from this: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wp-table-reloaded-pagination-issue-with-in-place
(just with different parameters) and the bottom part of this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wp-table-reloaded-cant-see-filter-and-pagination

If you make your "WordPress URL" and the "Site URL" identical (both should probably have the domain name and not the IP), everything should be working again.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Tobias -

I saw that earlier thread, but my WordPress URL and Site URL are identical. Both have the spelled-out name, not the IP address.

Is there somewhere, perhaps in a data table somewhere, where the old location of the jquery is stored, in spite of having updated the two URLs on the Settings/General page?

    Hi,

are you sure about that? Otherwise I don't have an idea where the IP comes from in the HTML output on your site.
Are those values maybe hardcoded in the wp-config.php file? Or are they maybe changed through a filter in your theme's functions.php? Or does maybe W3 Total Cache have a setting to change this?

    Regards,
    Tobias
