  • Hello Tobias,

First, let me tell you I really appreciate your plugin, it has helped me a lot in a first implementation. Be assured I will remember it 🙂

Secondly, I would like to know if it is possible to set a multiple choice menu to choose from when setting a table on the admin side

Let me explain: I am building a property rentals website and I am using Table Reloaded to display the characteristics and amenities of the apartments.

This means there are categories like Type, bed, kitchen etc that never change and subcategories that on the contrary change depending on the apartment, like Type > 1 room, 2 rooms, 3 rooms etc… ; Microwave oven Yes/ No.

In short it would be a great gain of time to program the possible subcategories for each category. Is it already possible or shall we wait a new version?

Thank you very much for your feedback.

    Pascal

    Hi Pascal,

sorry, but I guess I’ll have to disappoint you.

This would be out of the scope of the plugin, as I see it. The plugin is designed to show static data in tabular form, where the data source is as free as possible (i.e. text fields without restrictions).
Limiting those to drop-downs or something else is not what I have in mind for it.

You might instead want to take a look at a form generation plugin maybe, where the transmitted form data gets stored in a database and can be shown as desired.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
