I have been using the plugin for some time, and then all of a sudden it broke. I tried reinstalling but I continue to get the same errors on all my tables. They read:

“DataTables warning (table id = ‘wp-table-reloaded-id-1-no-1’): Cannot reinitialise DataTable.

To retrieve the DataTables object for this table, please pass either no arguments to the dataTable() function, or set bRetrieve to true. Alternatively, to destory the old table and create a new one, set bDestroy to true (note that a lot of changes to the configuration can be made through the API which is usually much faster).”

I deleted the tables, then cleared the plugin – but these errors still occur. This never happened prior to upgrading to wordpress 3.4.2. I do not know how to change arguments or to set bTretrieve to true. Please help.

    Hi Eric,

this sounds as if your theme contains the call to wp_footer(); twice.

To verify that, please temporarily switch to the WordPress Default theme and check again.

Also, please post the link to the page with a table where this is happening, and I’ll take a look.

    Regards,
    Tobias
