Hi Matthias,
thanks for your post.
Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you. Such a feature is not and likely won’t be part of WP-Table Reloaded.
Your best choice (if you really need this “automatic”) probably is to maintain the table in Excel, use the available features there to get a column with increasing numbers, save to “CSV” and then import/replace that table again into WP-Table Reloaded.

Hi Tobias.
Oh that would be a possible solution for my problem. That’s much better than increasing manually 😉
Thanks a lot for this hint.
Greetings
Matthias
Hi Matthias,
sure, no problem! You are very welcome! 🙂
Best wishes,
Tobias

Yes a long time went over …
what’s about the possibility of sorting the tablerows in the admin view with drag and drop?
like this: http://www.isocra.com/2008/02/table-drag-and-drop-jquery-plugin/
otherwise there’s only the comfortably solution of using Excel.
Hi Matthias,
that’s actually possible in the official and designated successor of WP-Table Reloaded, called TablePress. I’ve been working on this for a while now, and while it is labeled as “0.8-beta”, it is still very stable. You can get it at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tablepress/ For information on how to switch from WP-Table Reloaded to TablePress, please see http://tablepress.org/migration-from-wp-table-reloaded/

Tobias
