[resolved] All table contents getting lost (4 posts)

    Hi.
I am using wp-table-reloaded in my WordPress 3.2.1 site.
The site works fine in localhost.

I have created 92 tables that I am displaying within multiple pages in my website. Each table has 2 rows and upto 3 columns. The first row is text and the 2nd row is an image.

But when I upload it to the server I loose all my data.
I have lost my data 2 times now!

After uploading, I loose all my data and get something like this:-
[table "111" seems to be empty /]

Even if I try to change the content directly in the server, I am not being able to.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Harsha

    Hi Harsha,

were you uploading a mySQL dump?

Did you perform any actions on the data in the database? Like searching and replacing?

Can you try the "WP-Table Reloaded Dump File" method? You can can create such a file on the "Plugin Options" screen (on localhost) and import that on the new server.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Dear Tobias,

    Thanks a lot. It worked!

Yes I was changing the URLs while porting from my local machine to the server.

    Warm Regards,
    Harsha

    Hi Harsha,

great to hear that this worked!

Changing URLs directly in the database is not possible in WP-Table Reloaded tables. It breaks the internally used data format, which results in your tables being destroyed!

    Regards,
    Tobias
