The text inside the pre tag remain the same it doesn't even add html tags.
I also tried syntaxhighlighter but it doesn't works too..
I also disabled all the plugins..
Anyone else have problem with wordpress 3.1?

fixed, it was because i was using get_the_content() that returns content unformatted.
