WP Supersized
Screen darkens on hover (5 posts)

I'm using the slideshow as a way to get a logo to fade in over the background image. It works great! The one problem is that when I hover my mouse over the background image, the screen darkens. In firebug the opacity goes down from opacity: 1 to opacity: .65. But I can't figure out where to make it stop to make the image remain the same regardless of if the mouse if hovering over it or not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So my problem was that the theme I was using (sheeva) changes opacity every time a link is rolled over. For some reason, the background image on my site was being read as a link and the image would darken on rollover. I changed themes and it's fixed. When you mouse over links on your page do they change opacity? If so, it's probably the theme that's causing the problem.
