WP Supersized
[resolved] Hide navigation controls if slideshow has only one slide (6 posts)

It doesn't make much sense to have navigation controls on the page if slideshow consists of one slide only. I think you can add a really simple check and hide navigation controls. Please let me know if you want me to contribute some code in order to have this fixed.

    Thanks in advance!

I came here to see if this exactly feature was available or not. This is a great plugin (thank you!) but the arrows on single-slide posts is very confusing and it would be awesome if they could be suppressed when appropriate.

Artem, did you fix this on your end? If so could you share the code?

    Hi Glark,

Here is the code that worked for me: https://gist.github.com/3027640

I'd like to mention that the changes I've done work only if you are using NextGen gallery as a source of images. I'm not sure it will work for other options.

Will try to spend some time today optimizing my solution to work with all available options.

    Good luck!

Oh cool, thanks Artem! Personally I'm just using the native media manager but I bet a lot people on NGG will be happy to see this. Makes me wish I knew how to program. :)

Say Artem, any chance I could pay you for your time to hack in a solution for this when using the WP Media Manager? Let me know at me@glark.org. Thanks!

Thanks to David (Glark) we created a common fix for this issue that will work for NextGen Gallery, WP media manager and custom xml options.

Everybody who are interested in it can take the updated code here - https://gist.github.com/3027640.

Hopefully author of the plugin can include it into the next version.

    best regards,
    Artem
