   I have WP Super Cache enabled but am confused about the sites' behavior on tools.pingdom.com.

   In view source, I see the WP Super Cache comments in the footer. Somewhere I saw a reference to comments are supposed to be in the header too but they are not there. The site does load faster so I assume that it is working.

   However, when I go to tools.pingdom.com, each page element loads separately like WP Super Cache isn't active. Can someone explain this to me?

   That's how it's supposed to work. The tool there loads everything on your page, graphics, css, js, etc.

   Is there a way to make Pingdom report that the site is up and working?

   Since I activated Wp Super Cache according to Pingdom the site is down. Is there some kind of solution to this?

   PS: Pingdom user agent is set to connect to domain root (http://domain.tld) and gets a 403 error. It looks like this:
   Pingdom.com_bot_version_1.4_(http://www.pingdom.com/)
