I've been using WP Super Cache for some time, and generally find it a very good plugin. However, I'm getting frustrated that with every time I install an update to the plugin (using the WP autoupdater), my cache is cleared, the status reverts of OFF (WP Cache and Super Cache disabled), compression is disabled and the expiry time reverts to the default.
It's frustrating having to redo these settings every time the plugin is updated - particularly the status:on/off one. Can it not save the settings from previous versions?

Typo in the previous message: should have read "the status reverts to OFF"
These don't happen for me. I just updated one site to .89 and checking the settings afterward found everything on and set the way it was before. Didn't even clear the cache.
Hmmm. It happens every time with me, and always has done. I suppose it might be a conflict with another plugin, but I don't know how I'd check it (given that updates happen only occasionally)
You could try downloading an older version and then upgrading again. It's odd that your settings reset. I don't know how that would happen!
Donncha - you're a star. I reverted right back to v0.1, turned it on and set a new expiry time. After running the automatic update, it was still on with the expiry time in place. Thanks for the suggestion - hopefully all will be OK now!
Thanks for all your work on this great plugin.
