[Plugin: WP Super Cache] Option to clear cache when links added or templates changed

    WP Super Cache has the option “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published.” Could this be extended to clear the cache when links or categories are added, and when the site template files are edited?

    Possibly, it depends on if there are hooks processed when those things happen. If you edit your template files outside of WordPress it’s very hard to detect those changes.

    I usually suggest disabling caching for known users and when changes are finished.
