Is there any way not to cache the footer (footer.php)? I searched for the faq, but it seems the mfunc function work with certain php code or file only. If I don't want to cache the whole footer.php, can I do that? Thanks.

See the FAQ about using Javascript or mfunc to keep things dynamic. You need to modify your footer.php
