[Plugin: WP Super Cache] No change in .htaccess? (1 post)

Installing wp-super-cache on my blog (http://www.iayork.com/MysteryRays ; this is redirected from http://www.iayork.com/Blog). Everything seems to have installed correctly except for the revised .htaccess file. The configuration page claims "Mod Rewrite rules updated! /home/.portable/iayork/iayork.com/Blog/.htaccess has been updated with the necessary mod_rewrite rules."

But that file has not been changed; it is still the default .htaccess.

I checked other directories (root, etc) and the revised .htaccess is not present anywhere.

I can edit it manually, of course, but before I do that I wonder if there's some underlying problem, or reason why the .htaccess didn't change. In particular, I wonder if the redirect (different blog address from main directory) is a problem.

    Thanks for the plugin.
