I am using Google Calendar Events. It won't update if WP Super-Cache is running. I've been told that there are no calendar feeds that will update properly if a caching plugin is active and that using ajax/javascript you solve the problem because the feed is read directly by browser.
I also tried setting the recaching time to something very low - like a few hours, but the calendar still never got updated.
What calendar widget plugins will work?. I want a list of events, not a calendar grid.
