• Hi,

I noticed that on the WP plugin page, the compatibility only indicates up to 2.8.6. Is WP Super Cache compatible w/ 2.9.1 yet?

    Thanks!

    Thanks ClaytoJames,

Yes, I did see those stats but I was hoping the plugin author would actually confirm that the plugin is set for 2.9 or update it accordingly…

Maybe you could drop him a line.

It works fine on 2.9 and 2.9.1 for me on 4 blogs.

It works just fine. 2.9.x weren’t that big a change. If it had stopped working I would have released a new version.

Bumping the version number means releasing a new version which is pointless when there are no new bug fixes or features.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Please ignore my emails…& my wifes πŸ˜‰

    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

For me, upgrading from 2.9 to 2.9.1 resulted in the WP-Cache part to not work, but the Super-Cache part does. Not a big deal I guess since pages are getting cached one way or the other.

Wp Super Cache does NOT work for me in 2.9.1 I had errors from the beginning when I upgraded to 2.9.1 Can’t pin down the error, so I just disabled the plugin… using Theme Max Is Now and all plugins worked perfectly in 2.8.6 …. Trouble is ALL of my plugins are disabled due to funny errors in 2.9.1 ???

Works for me perfectly on all my blogs. Must be something local on your installs unfortunately.

I use 2.9.1 and it doesn’t work for me either. And I can’t un-install the plugin either. Get’s this message

savhammar – just follow the “If All Else Fails” instructions in the readme.txt

    Thanks.
I got the plugin working, I put 755 on everything in the wp-content folder.
Some part of it must have been something else

site works, and WP-Super-Cache header is there
not seeing Content-Encoding response supporting compression yet

cireph – did you enable compression? Try the debugging functions on the admin page.
