I finally have a host that allows gzip so I have begun using Supercache. While it seems like it’s working and I get cached pages served, I have yet to se a big improvement in Google’s Page Speed Score through firefox. The biggest issue is still lack of “Browser Cacheing”. Many of the files listed are images, Now the question is what can I do to increase my sites performance even more? Any help would be great, or am I just pretty much at the best I can be. My sites url is vgrevolution.com if anyone wants to run the speed test for themselves.

  • You probably don’t want your html cached by the browser, as on reload you want the newest content loaded, but images are a different matter. Google for “images expiry headers” or something to find .htaccess rules to help.
