• I am beginning to like this plugin in its latest avatar. Hated it 2 years ago.

    But please — on any real website we need the ability to turn the caching plugin on and off.

    This plugin croaks if the define('WP_CACHE', true); is left in the wp_config. Why do you care?

    Use it if it exists. Don’t use it when your plugin is disabled. Let me get on with it. It’s highly annoying that I cannot activate/reactivate this plugin from just the WordPress screen. I have to go into the SSH and edit the stupid line.

    Pls consider this tweak.

  • What do you mean croaks?

    WordPress tries to load wp-content/advanced-cache.php if that constant is defined and AFAIR doesn’t check if the file exists. Is that what you mean? Unfortunately I can’t fix that as it’s a core WordPress issue.
