    "No closing html tag" - means the buffer of page data sent to the plugin didn't have a closing html tag. Are you using any other plugin that uses an output buffer? Look for ob_start in your plugins folder.

    Thank you very much Donncha,

    this one has bugging me for a couple of days, in the header of header-php I have had direction:

    <?php if (substr_count($_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING'], 'gzip')) ob_start("ob_gzhandler"); else ob_start(); ?>

    but super cache as I understand do this also!

    Thanks for greeeeat plugin!

    cheers k

    I'm also having this problem with caching and see that same closing html tag msg.

    I have the issue on my live server, but not on my dev server, but with the same plugins installed, same theme, basically everything (except I have additional deactivated plugins in dev, and different data in the db).

    Environments are a bit different; live server is dedicated, has some additional apache modules installed (per super cache reqs) and is PHP 4 (this could certainly be significant...)

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    I have found the incompatible plugin by disabling each plugin in turn and checking the cache status and I found there was one that was didn't agree with WP Super Cache! (though not sure why this didn't occur on the dev server...)

    Thank you!
