[Plugin: WP Super Cache] dev-version and WP Popular posts

Hello Donncha,

due to some frontpage caching mysteries, I switched to the dev-version of WP Super Cache as recommended here http://ocaoimh.ie/2012/01/04/wp-super-cache-bug-fixing-and-php-object-destruction/

But now I found out, that the WP Popular Posts-Plugin does not work anymore with Super cache. See http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wordpress-popular-posts-wordpress-popular-posts-and-caching

Any reasons or solutions for that?
