   I noticed that when I visit page 2, 3, 4 - those pages don't get updated when I add a new post.
   The homepage updates but those pages can stay the entire day looking the same.

   The only option I have left is to clear the whole cache of my website and that causes load issues.

   Would anyone please let me know what is the problem here?

   Try the development version. Those archive pages are now deleted when a post is published.
