    Has this problem been resolved?

I had to create this new topic as the one in above link is closed.

No, I don't think so. Sorry. You'll just have to modify the Buddypress bp_core_clear_cache() function so it returns true.

    Donncha,

I am not sure I understand the exact nature of this problem.

I am using WP with Super Cache, and have Preloading switched on.

If I install BuddyPress, will my preloaded cache be wiped out everytime someone logs into BuddyPress? Will the cache be wiped only for BuddyPress pages or also for WordPress content?

Yes, unfortunately. If you can come up with a better way, perhaps a small cache timeout and regular garbage collection, or even a patch for Buddypress you should post a ticket on the BP trac. I presume it's a problem for other caching plugins too.

I created a ticket. They seem to acknowledge the problem.

Issue will be fixed in next version of BuddyPress.

If anyone wants to test 1.6-trunk against WP Super Cache to confirm the fix, or to check any other issues, that would be very much appreciated.
