• I’m using WP version 2.0.3, and I’m trying to figure out why the Last-Modified header is never sent out with the WP-Super Cache plugin. When I turn off WP-Super Cache, the Last-Modified header is sent just fine. However, when caching is on (and it needs to be fully on), the header disappears. How do you think I can get WP-Super Cache to work with this header? Thanks SO much!

  • You can’t. The half-on mode used to send that header but it caused problems for a particularly large hosting company and was commented out ages ago.

In full mode, it’s rewrite rules that are serving the page. I don’t think they can send the last modified header.
