WordPress 2.9.2
Wp super cache 0.9.9 (In half ON mode with Mobile support)
The problem (if it is) started once I upgraded to 2.9.2. When I empty the spam comments all the cached files get deleted.
There could be other reasons why the cached files are being deleted, but this is surely one of the reason that I found with 1 day of testing WP 2.9.2 and 0.9.9 plugin version.
Any reasons for this?
That's weird. It shouldn't do that. Can you use the debug system and capture what the plugin does when you empty the spam comments?
I just tried it myself and replicated this.

I can't seem to get the debugging mode work too. I tried logging to a text file and deleted some spam comments. You know the problem?
Along with the cache files, the log file too was deleted.
In the email mode, nothing logged to my email still after half an hour after deleting another set of spam comments.
The log mode is at '1'. Does it mean that it schedules the email once a day or something like that?
I've fixed this in the development version if you want to give it a go! (on the download page)

A BIG thanks.
It's perfectly working.
Only one change to wp-cache-phase2.php file, is that all?
Why aren't other people complaining about this. I mean is this bug only narrowed down to users in Half ON mode with Mobile support?
Thanks once again.

I thought it was fixed initially but it's not.
There are two things here, Spam comments and trashed comments, deleting any of which use to empty the cached pages earlier.
Now it seems as though emptying trash doesn't bother the cache files but emptying spam comments still deletes cached files.
I think you can replicate this too?
Will be waiting...
No, I can't replicate that. I cleared the spam on my blog and it didn't delete the cache. Weird.
