WP Stripe
[resolved] Modal not working - sends to new page (9 posts)

Using WP 3.3.2 and wp-stripe 1.3.2. Testing on a blank, 100% stock WP install (2012 theme, no plugins). Using latest Chrome and Firefox 12.0 browsers.

    - I installed the plugin and added the shorttag [wp-stripe] with no extra parameters to a post.
    - I verified that it successfully accepts test mode transactions. However, clicking the "Donate!" button sends the browser to a new page load (foo.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-stripe/includes/stripe-iframe.php?keepThis=true&TB_iframe=true&height=580&width=400) rather than a modal dialog on the main site page, as I'd expect.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I verified that the CSS is being loaded, as are all javascript files... I'm really at a loss.

Awkward. Is this a page or post? Try page, possible it's that.

Aha! I was testing from a post that was displayed as a recent item on the homepage.

I verified that clicking the link when on a page DOES work correctly, as well as when viewing a post on its own permalink URL.

I haven't had a chance to test this use case, but would this be an issue when inserting the donation block into a template, where the "donate!" button would show on every page?

Hey Phil, I think I need to broaden the flexibility either way, so it won't be an issue once I update it.

    Cheers!

I seem to be getting this 'new page' too, where it directs to domain.com/wp/wp-content/plugins/wp-stripe/includes/stripe-iframe.php?keepThis=true&TB_iframe=true&height=580&width=400

I'm using the shortcode on a page. I tried using <?php wp_stripe_form(); ?> in my template and oddly enough, it doesn't even create the 'button link'.

Like philhagen, testing worked and css is being loaded.

    Using WP 3.3.2 and wp-stripe 1.3.3.

This is still happening and have updated WP and WP-Stripe. 3.4.1 and stripe 1.4.2

    I'm deactivated, deleted, reinstalled.

    Any thoughts?

Do you have a live link somewhere, usually helps best :) Cheers

    Two issues:

    - One of your jQuery scripts is erroring out.
    - There seems to be another segment of stripe javascript in your code, no clue why. You install other stripe code?
