   All my posts have images that are not in the media library but are stored in the default WP uploads folder.

   Is there any some sort of hack to make this work?

   Also, will the theme smushing capability of this plugin ever return?

   Theme smushing could definitely return. I'll put it back on the list.

   I'll look into the non-media library files, too. Can either of you explain the rationale? How are you using images that aren't in the library on your sites?

   I´m using a plugin called supersized, that I put images direct in folder, so It doesn´t pass in media library, how can I use smush.it with it?
