   Hello,

   I upgraded to the newest version and after that, I got strange problems. First I lost the admin access to SlimStat. Through PHPMyAdmin I was able to reset the plugin and got my access back.

   If I include any user to the read or config access, then the plugin block the access for all users. For example I add user1 for read access. After that no one execpt of admin is able to access to the statistics. Also user1 didn't get the access.
   If I add any user to config access, then no user is able to access the config page. I tried "username" and also "UserName" - both didn't work. Is there something wrong?

   At the moment I deleted all users from Read Access and Config Access. In that case all users are able to edit and view statview - however, non-admin user got slimstat only in an extra menu - I disabled that, but slimstat ignore it...

   Please for help.

   I found the problem. Can you go to Settings > Config and remove all the values from those fields under Permissions?

   Yes I'm able to delete all permissions - at the moment there is only one setting with a value. It's "Minimum capability". Both other are empty. If I put an user to read access then nothing change for the admin. That user isn't able to access to SlimStat statistics...

   Would it be possible to have access to your admin to see this behavior? I can't replicate the issue in my test environment.

   Hi, I'm looking for that. Maybe we find a way through TeamViewer or simular. On the other way I'm thinking about to create an extra user for you...

   However, in the meantime I tried some other things and found a installation error after deletion and reinstallation from your plugin. The message:

   Das Plugin verursachte eine Fehlermeldung 1832 Zeichen unerwartete Ausgabe während der Aktivierung. Sollte du Fehlermeldungen wie “headers already sent”, Probleme mit der Syndizierung der Feeds oder andere Fehler erhalten, versuche das Plugin zu deaktivieren oder zu löschen.

   After that, the database was empty, but I'm able to set permissions and it is working!

   Additional info: what mean that error 1832?

   I have more then one page - so the problem is only on one page "solved"...
   ...is it possible to export the statistic, unable and delete the plugin, fresh install the plugin and import the old statistic?

   You can just manually download 2.8.3, unzip that file, and upload its content to your server, overwriting the existing files. It should fix all of your issues.

   Hello again. The upload through ftp solved all my problems - strange, but Ok for me ;-)

   PS.: I voted already for you plugin.

    Yeah, apparently the upgrade procedure for 2.8.3 had a bug that was only triggered in some specific cases (conflict with another plugin?). I'll look into it to see if there's anything I can do to address the issue.
