As stated in response to both the comment you posted on my site and the support forums where you eventually posted your comment, this is entirely false.
The plugin works quite nicely in WP 2.8, as seen on the plugin site which is running 2.8. Numerous other users have reported success, and no one else has reported their site “crashing”.
As I told you on the support forums, please provide useful information so that your specific problem can be addressed, i.e. a link to a site running the plugin that is “crashing”.
In the future, please follow up on requests for support before making patently false claims.
