WP RSS Multi Importer
[resolved] Can't display feed on second column (10 posts)

    Hi Allen,

    first of all...GREAT plugin! By far the nicest looking and comprehensive RSS feed plugin for WP to date. :)

    Anyway, I have this problem: for some reason, I can't load any RSS feed on more than one column on a single page. So for instance, on a 3-column page, if I set the plugin to load on each column - the result will be: column 1 displays the RSS feed correctly, and the rest 2/3 page will appear blank.

    As an additional info, I'm using a responsive WP theme with built-in template builder. The template uses the 960 grid style. No other plugin is installed. I can display other contents (images, posts, text, widget etc) no problems whatsoever on the columns.

    Any help / input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Louis
    One thing that would help is if you told me the theme you were using..that way I could really test this out on my production server.

    Thanks,
    Allen

    Ok...see if this will help

    ok..here is a quick fix until I work on this..if you know how to edit the plugin's files in wordpress, go into the main plugin file (wp-rss-multi-importer.php) and change line 1387 from this:

    require_once ( WP_RSS_MULTI_TEMPLATES . $template );

    to this

    require( WP_RSS_MULTI_TEMPLATES . $template );

    let me know if this works for you.

    Hi Allen,

    that sure worked, thanks! Out of curiosity though, is this a specific theme-related issue?

    Anyway, really appreciate the help!

    Cheers,

    no, what happens is that in php you can require_once to include a file (which in my code is including a specific theme) once...which works for most users, but you want to have this work on your page in more than one place...thus, it needs to have this changed to require (not require_once). I will update this on the next version, but need to make sure this doesn't break the plugin when, for example, pagination is used. I hope this makes sense.
