I like that – where can I get a copy?
I haven’t yet published it.
Brilliant, hopefully I’ll get a chance to upload it this week, it needs instll guides as you need to insert short codes and there are a few options with them.
on a side note, do you know of any support for developers who publish extensions on wordpress.com?
sorry, support for developers who publish plugins to wordpress.org
Hi,
Love the site.
I’d like to adapt the Doc Archive plugin in the way you have. Could you post the patch for the openfile routine to force a new window to open.
Cheers
Andy
Hi David,
I just made a wordpress account to tell you that I LOVE your plugin and I am really looking forward to getting a copy. Do you know when you’re planning on publishing it as we are planning on releasing our academic site very soon? Thanks!
Likewise, I’m looking forward to trying out the plugin. I like WP Publication Archive, I could just use a useful search facility on it.
What will your new plugin be called and when do you expect to publish it?
plus one… it looks awesome
Hi David, any chance you can upload this plugin soon?
Hello David
Hoping you’re still monitoring this thread.
Recently taken on a WordPress site that includes posts promoting a number of publications. Would like to make these posts easier to navigate by bringing them together into a single list. Really like Eric’s WP Publication Archive plugin, but the sticking point in using it is that a number of the publications (as on your site for PublicPolicy.ie) are hosted elsewhere.
You mention above that you plan to make your evolved version of WP Publication Archive available for wider use. Really hope that this is still on the cards. Any update on timescales?
Best wishes
Paul
Paul, Please open a new thread next time …

So you want publications hosted elsewhere to be listed, or not? If that’s a feature you want, it’s a feature that WP Publication Archive can support. The version coming out this month restores the remote hosting capabilities (which were disabled in openfile.php
during the TimThumb remote code execution scare).
Open a new thread and link to it here so we can continue the conversation …
