Filter categories instead of including them (7 posts)

I have 6 categories with each having four sub categories with the same names, for example:

Cagetory One

Sub 1

Sub 2

Cagetory Two

Sub 1

Sub 2

Currently I can show documents that are both categories like this:
    [wp-publication-archive categories="Cat One,Cat Two"]

Is there a way to filter so that I can only include documents that are in both? Perhaps something like this?

    [wp-publication-archive categories="Cat One&Sub 1"]

This is so that I can include documents that must be in both categories.

    Make sense?

Makes sense, but no, you can't do this at the moment. I'll see what I can do to add this kind of filtering to a future version, but I can't promise anything at the moment.

    thanks Eric.

I also need to have the search results look at the document summary, do you think this is possible?

See the ajax search on http://new.publicpolicy.ie and you'll see why I need this.

David, that site uses IP filtering, so I can't see it (and I use a dynamic IP, so I can't give you one to get access).

But I do understand that search results need to look at the summary ... that's something I'm already working on.

    David,

I see what you're trying to do there. Unfortunately, the default WP search doesn't look through post meta to find content. Like I said, it's something I'm already working on ...
