    I have lightbox plus and it appears non of the image protectors will prevent an image from being dragged from the lightbox to the desktop.
    It does stop the image from being clicked on (prior to opening in the lightbox) and being dragged to the desktop.

    I don’t know if this is something the owner of lightbox plus also needs to be aware of and they all need to work together. Photocrati handles this by handing a html page to the requester and not an image. I’m hoping that we can find a solution here as I’d like the slightly higher level of protection..

    @folgerj,

    Thanks for the feedback on our WP-Protect plugin. Unfortunately, whenever you enter the world of javascript, it is likely to conflict with at least some of the other javascript-based plugins.

    That being said, since most lightbox scripts are even MORE advanced by using things like JQuery or AJAX, it is likely impossible to get a plugin like WP-Protect from preventing image dragging within the lightbox itself.

    I would recommend that you find a lightbox solution that comes with built in copyright protection, I’m sure there are a few. There are also Flash types of solutions, like on CNN.com but I’m sure it would be easier to just find a proper lightbox.

    Thanks, I had come to that same opinion myself. I love the lightbox plus and since I have several photography blogs I want the photographs to operate in a lightbox… Well I will look for a secure lightbox solution but to date I haven’t seen one.
    The WP-blog protect works great up till I open them in the lightbox… Oh well.
    Happy blogging.
