[Plugin: WP-PostRatings] rating on front page shows rating for latest post

Hi,

I put
[ratings]
into a widget in my sidebar.
It displays on every post the ratings.

My problem is that on the front page (blog page) it shows the rating for the latest post. I would like to rate the whole blog (or the front page of the blog). Is this possible?
