   With different configurations, and using both shortcode and php call in template, I get a quote and angle bracket below the ratings... in some cases along with some of the text from the post.

   Also note that when the item is rated, the text for the item is repeated after the rating.

   I'm off to look for a ratings plugin that works.

   Are you able to reproduce it on a fresh install of WP with just WP-PostRatings and twentyeleven/twentytweleve theme?

   Let me know the steps.

   I finally solved this error that I was getting thanks to Lester's advice. It turned out that a plugin I use on my site "Front-end editor" was causing this to appear.

   You have two options: Disable the plugin. Or disable the ability for users to edit titles on the plugin. Just getting rid of the title-editing ability was enough for the error to disappear. For me this is something I'm willing to compromise with.

   Thanks Lester for such a great plugin! I hope you continue to update it because really it is the best star rating plugin out there on WordPress.

   I have same problem with el "">" in the versions 1.63 and 1.64. I dont have this problem in the version 1.62, anyone have a solution please?.
   I don't have instaled "Front-end editor" plugin.
