   Stuck in "Loading original image for cropping ... " Never finishes...

   Anybody know of another that works? Non-webbies will be updating site and I need a way for them to add thumbnails without HTML location links.

   Also need to be able to set crop. Thanks!

   I have the same problem. I'm running WordPress on Ubuntu and I just installed WP Post Thumbnail as a requirement for Featured Content Gallery. I tried to use WP Post Thumbnail for the fist time today, but the post is stuck saying "Loading original image for cropping ..." even if I leave the page and come back. I've even deactivated the plugin and reactivated it, but I still get the same message with no way to cancel or retry.

   Same problem here. Maybe a new version bug?

   Just found this:

   Known Bugs and Issues
   1. Large images stuck during loading. Scale your ultra-large images down to a more manageable size (eg. 1024px by 783px) before uploading to your post. Set your web hosting server’s php.ini max_memory to no less than 32MB.

   I didn't think my image was too large, but who knows...
