Using phpbb bridge version 2.05 with WordPress 3.3.
I encountered this rather disturbing situation.
When I register a new user, activate and then log in, I end up in phpbb, nothing strange here so far (aside from the fact that it would be nice to automatically return to the website instead of dropped off somewhere in phpbb no mans land).
Some strange things happen:
-the user is not auto added to the WP users
-the Site Admin link is available to this user when viewing the WP website (the Meta:Login widget is active on the site)
--the WP top toolbar is not visible yet
--the Site Admin link actually takes the vanilla user to the FULLY ENABLED dashboard! very disturbing!
--as soon as the vanilla user enters the dashboard, the WP top toolbar appears, welcoming the user saying: "Howdy, admin". Something goes borky....
I'm going to try to deinstall phpbb bridge for now, as it seems to be a great security risk to my WP site at the moment.
Has anyone else encountered this?
