I’ve used this plug-in as a sidebar widget for months and it has worked perfectly. Upon upgrading today, the plug-in remains but the widget has disappeared. I have tried reinstalling, but without success. The album I use is grayed out on the “settings” window. Suggestions?

The album is grayed out because you selected and so you can not select it twice.

All widgets are dynamic now (since 2.5.0), so you have to reactivate them once in the wp widget menu section.

Please read the plugins changelog where this is documented:

Thanks for the info. I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin. I have also completely deleted it, reloaded it and activated. No matter what I do, the widget no longer exists on the widget screen. That’s the issue. It simply disappeared with the 2.5.0 upgrade. What am I missing?

It is called Photo Of The Day, You should also have a widget called TopTen Widget and one called Search Photos. Are the others also missing?

This was totally my fault. I didn’t know you changed the name of the sidebar–so I overlooked it. Now that I know the new name and have reinstalled it, it is working perfectly. Thanks so much for the assistance and for the good plugin.
