    Hello OpaJaap!

    First of all; this is one of the best plugins (overall) I've ever tested and started using. Thank you!

    My problem is that I translated the "wppa_theme-xx_YY.po" file into Turkish, and saved the file as "wppa_theme-tr_TR.po". I also renamed the .mo file the same as the .po one. I saved the .po file and uploaded both files into the wppa language folder.

    I've multisite set up, and the main site is in Turkish while the other two are in English and German (not published yet). Somehow the translation is not showing up. I deactivated and reactivated WPPA from the Network Admin menu.

    Oh, yes, the plugin is Network Activated, not activated individually on subsites. Do you think that might be the problem?

    Thanks again!

    -John

    Additional Note:

    When I saved the .po file, it did not automatically save an .mo file, as you mentioned on [http://wppa.opajaap.nl/wppa-tutorial/how-to-translate-wppa/]. I initially renamed both files changing "xx_YY" to "tr_TR", and edited the .po file using PoEdit (Mac). Maybe the .mo file is the problem?

    Thanks!

    Excuse me as I did not read the WordPress localization guidelines. But please consider adding this to your "How to translate wppa+" guideline.

    For anyone else having the same problem;

    For some reason, the "save .mo file automatically" option in the settings menu of PoEdit was not ticked (on Mac). Enabling that option sorted the problem. When I saved the .po file, it automatically created the appropriate .mo file. Uploaded both into wp-photo-album-plus/langs folder on the server, and it works.

    Since Turkish and English are grammatically "reversed", it is quite difficult to localize this plugin into Turkish. I'll try my best though and send you the files.

    Cheers!

    Thank you! I will add it in the documentation.

    Aslanj, i am trying to translate it to Turkish too. Were you able to translate the things like Previous Photo, Next Photo, My Rating etc.? If yes can you tell me how? Or can you email the Turkish files to me at enerdo@gmail.com

    thank you.

    Hi, spor101! I just sent the files to you. Hope it helps.

    OpaJaap; I'm sending the Turkish localization files to you, as well. Because grammar is quite different in English and Turkish, the translations might look weird in PoEdit (blank strings, etc.), but I believe it suits better this way. Hope it helps. Thank you, again, for the tremendous effort you put into this plugin!
