    Hello,

    The background color of the WPPA+ Search Photos widget (text box) is white.

    What is the css coding for changing this white background to #d2d3aa please?

    Thank you so much!

    }

    The button:

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, this did not work for the Search Photos text box area and, it did not work for the Search button.

    Here is the code that I used in the child theme's css file:

    #wppa_searchform #wppa_s {
    background: #d2d3aa;
    }

    #wppa_searchform #wppa_searchsubmit {
    background: #5a4d33;
    border-color: #695e49 #c8ae61 #c8ae61 #695e49;
    border-style: solid;
    border-width: 2px;
    color: #ffffff;
    font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    font-weight: bold;
    padding: 4px 12px;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    Thank you so much!

    Hello,

    I'm sorry but that did not work for the photos search box and the button. Here is my new code:

    #wppa_searchform #wppa_s {
    background-color: #d2d3aa;
    }

    #wppa_searchform #wppa_searchsubmit {
    background-color: #5a4d33;
    border-color: #695e49 #c8ae61 #c8ae61 #695e49;
    border-style: solid;
    border-width: 2px;
    color: #ffffff;
    font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    font-weight: bold;
    padding: 4px 12px;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    Thank you so much,

    Marcus

    Where is the photo searchbox located?

    Hello,

    It is only viewable by logged-in users.

    Once you are logged in you will see it in the upper portion of the widget sidebar.

    You are already registed so you should be able to login.

    Let me know if you cannot.

    Thanks!

    I tested:

    #wppa_searchform #wppa_s {
    background-color: #d2d3aa;
    }

    on a testsite and it works. I cannot find on your site why it does not.

    Maybe try:

    #wppa_searchform #wppa_s {
    background-color: #d2d3aa !important;
    }

    Unfortunately, the !important tag did not work.

    Perhaps, rather than modifying the child theme's style.css file, I should modify the actual css file within the plugin folder?

    Yes, try it. You can make a copy of .../wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/theme/wppa-style.css and put it in your theme directory (not the child themes dir) to prevent overwriting at an update. When wppa+ finds his wppa-style.css in the theme dir, this file will be loaded and not the original one.

    This did not work.

    I'm perplexed because I have two other css changes for WPPA+ located in my child theme's style.css file and they both work fine.

    So, I'm just going to leave it as is for now.

    Thank you so much for trying - I appreciate it!

    Marcus
