[resolved] Captions on portrait shots are covered up (6 posts)

Love the plugin! FYI - I noticed that landscape photos look great in the viewer/slideshow, however portrait images cover up most/all of the caption. I hope this can be resolved at some point.

Try: setting Vertical Alignment of full sized images to Top or Center

    Thanks opajapp,

I don't see a place to align the image in the CSS. I tried aligning the text to bottom, but that didn't work. An example of the issue can be found here:

This is not what i ment.

Go to the Photo Album settings page in the admin screen and change in the first chapter 'Fullsize images' the Vertical alignment from --- default --- to center or top.
Try both and discover the difference between the two possibilities in a slideshow with both landscape and portrait images.
You need not change any CSS for this.

Good luck and have fun with it.

Very nice. The captions on the portrait images look great. There's a bit of a gap on the landscape ones, but I can live with that.

    Thank you

I looked at it and will have the next revision (2.1.0) modified, so you will have an additional selection of fit that will even address the gap-issue. This will take a few days (~week or so..)
