If you want it after voting, use the Rating use Ajax switch (Table IV item 27) from the Photo Albums -> Settings screen.
Thinking about it, I am probably asking for a way to make photo browsing as easy as possible on my site. I took a look on your example, The Generic photoalbum, so I think I will remove the slideshow and voting and instead rely on the lightbox (I guess that’s what you used there) to easily browse between photos. I also noticed that it is actually the height of my header on the site that forces one to scroll, so perhaps I will modify my theme as well.
Pls be aware of the fact that when you use lightbox for thumbnail links (Table VI item 2) you have to switch off popup (Table II item 12)
Now I am getting close to the behaviour I am after, the lightbox was clearly in the right direction.
One more thing though, is it possible to limit the size of the displayed image when it is displayed using lightbox?
I tried to change Table I item 3, but that didn’t change that behavour.
The lightbox sizes are the physical sizes. So, set Tab;e I item 4 on and 4a to the desired size. You may update existing photos on the import screen to get existing photos to that sizes. (if the names are not changed)
