   When I modify a page and custumize a sidebar, I update the page and the sidebar does not change at all. Why ?

   Same thing.
   The update of a custom post do empty the changes on the sidebar.
   I'm working with Hybrid theme.

   Hello!
   Are you sure you choose the "Customize" option in Page Widgets box before Update the post? I was confused many times in this case :).

   Actually I'm working with custom post types... maybe it's not supported.

   For WP 3.x default theme you might need to use Sidebar Template when editing a page to have widgets displayed.
