I have tried everything to get this plug-in to work. Nothing works. I am having the same issues most are having. When you go to edit a page, when you click “customize” and drag your widget into the area you’ve chosen, click save and update, nothing happens. When you go back in, everything has reverted as if you did nothing.

From what I see on here, I am surely not the only one who can’t get this plug-in to work. It’s a shame. In theory, if it worked, it would be great.

  • I have same problem that you.
    Don’t work on WordPress 3.3.
Error on line 122 on page-widget.js

Yes… i also have the same problem

Me too. It stop working recently.

I’m having the same problem and I don’t see any PHP errors in my logs so it’s a mystery.
    I’m running WordPress 3.1-RC2.

I just saw few days ago this message on plugin`s page:
“WP3.3 users: Please don’t use it for now. There is a known issue that it does not work with 3.3.”
I am using WP 3.3, so i hope they will fix the plugin soon …

For WP 3.x default theme you might need to use Sidebar Template when editing a page to have widgets displayed.
We have it works properly on http://pagewidget.codeandmore.net/wp3.3/?page_id=4
with Theme Twenty Eleven on WP 3.3.1
    (login with pagewidget / dev)

I had the SAME problem until I deleted all of the widgets in the default section, and ONLY used the Page Widgets. As soon as the default widget section was empty, I stated getting the results I was after.

    Give this a try.

I could not make this plugin to work. I use WP 3.2

My sidebar seems not to appear when clicking on every single post on my blog. I can see below every post (when edit a post) the available widgets in order to add them with this plugin, but i when i choose either Default or Customize options nothing seems to change.

Don’t know what to do. There is some formats

    Standard
    Aside
    Link
    Gallery
    Status
    Quote
    Image..

What about them?? The “by default” option is “Standard”.

    Dear Pasaporti,
Once you chose Customize you will need to drag in your sidebar(s). For formats I guess we are talking about page template options? Not sure which ones of them have sidebars, so please give us access (WP Admin) or send us your whole WordPress files, with database.
    Best regards,
    Tien.

I’m having similar problems to those described above. I’m using WordPress 3.5 (just upgraded today).

It seems to work fine on posts (haven’t tried pages), but isn’t working properly for categories/tags. When I try to add a new widget to a category (after selecting “Customize” in the “Category Widgets” settings), after I save the category, and go back to the Category page, my new widgets aren’t found.

    I can remove widgets, however.
