   Is there is a way to prevent OpenID user registrations? I'd like my users to register via "Register Plus" options I've configured, and then (after the approval process is completed) allow them to add OpenIDs to their account for easing future authentication.

   hmm... I'm not familiar with "Register Plus". I'll have to take a look at that. For now, the short answer is no, what you're trying for is probably not possible very easily. OpenID Registration is controlled by the wordpress "anyone can register" option.

   wnorris, thank you for the great plugin, but I using Cimy User Extra Fields and I don't like OpenID register field here: it's hard-coded "float:left" for "Learn about OpenID", to "Register" buttons and un-configurable position of this field.

   I edited code in openid/login.php

   changed

   add_action( 'register_form', 'openid_wp_register_form', 9);

   to
   //add_action( 'register_form', 'openid_wp_register_form', 9);

   Is that enough for disabling openid field on registration page or not?
