Doing a migrate from http://www..../site to http://www..../sitecopy seems to work fine but when I try to migrate from http://www..../site to http://www..../site2 though it reports correct replacements when I look at the sql dump I see in the serialized data it's put in http://www..../site22 rather than http://www..../site2 - and it's only doing that in the serialized data.

I've rewritten the find & replace feature in version 0.4 released today, so hopefully that fixed this issue. Let me know.
