    Whenever I approve a user in the WP-Members admin panel, the system sends out the normal email with
    You may login and change your password here: http://www.mycomusic.org/wp-admin/profile.php---------------------------------- as part of it
    However, the dahes shouldn’t be there – there isn’t any way I can find to remove them. I’ve tried pasting the link, using the [member-area] shortcode, and plenty of other things. Any help?

    That looks to me like the line that is put in for the signature/footer.

    If you put a line break either at the end of your email or at the beginning of your footer you should be ok.
