   [Plugin: WP Maintenance Mode]
   Feeling a bit silly here, but how do I know this is working?
   I signed off WP (logged out) and visited site, and didn't see a splash window, just doing the default for now.
   Do I need to have someone else visit to test?
   (I am currently testing this in a dev site)

   you must active the status on the plugin. after you activate the plugin, you find an settings link on the plugin-list; click this. On this change the status to active Maintenance MOde and logout of your blog or use othe rusers to test; the maintenance mode page is active, not theme is viewable. On this settings you can change different settgins for the splash page.
