• First of all the plugin was quite easy to setup and worked the first time.
I am using google smtp on a brand new domain name and google email setup today.

I tried sending test emails to 3 different accts, personal, hotmail, and gmail.

I noticed all emails went straight to the spam folders on all accounts.

Is there something I can do to stop this from happening? This is a brand new domain name with zero history. The site ip is perfectly clean according to all the reporting sites and my datacenter.

Are there other possible causes that I can work on troubleshooting in order to get mail to go to a persons regular inbox?

**thnx for the plugin, it worked great and was so easy to setup. The only thing I miss is not being able to send more tests as I am using multisite and added the code to my wp-config.php file. Would be nice to separate out the test sending options panel someday?

  • If you’re using authentication, then the mail should be sent just as if you had logged in from a mail client. Do you have authentication enabled?

For the first time I used the plugin myself on a multi-site install, and you’re absolutely right, having a test mail form would be very useful. I’ll try to include that in the upcoming 1.0 release.

    Hello Callum,

when will the 1.0 release be ready? Is the newest version compatible with WP 3.3.2?

    Thanks
