    In Chrome and Firefox it is working and nobody complained about this before, so I am wondering what browser you are using.

    I am using Firefox but I tested my login page in IE8 😛

    Many of my users are using default browser in windows and I like to persuade theme to type theme passwords by Virtual keyboard.

    I have just tried with IE and it works if you also check the option ‘Keyboard initial visible‘.

    I know this might not be ideal, but IE is not the most compliant browser that exists and the used virtual keyboard library doesn’t seem to be maintained anymore.
