[resolved] Nothing happens when I try to log in. (2 posts)

When I go to log in, the log-in page looks fine, but no matter what I enter (right or wrong), nothing happens. This started a few days ago, when we added some new administrators to the site. But if any of them caused this, then they don't know what they did; they should have done nothing but edit text on the site's various public pages.

    Try it for yourself: http://lunkhouse.org/wp-login.php

If you can get that page to do anything, even give an error message, then I would like to know about it. And if you know what could possibly cause this behaviour, then I'd like to know about it. And if you know how one could get around this and log in, then I'd definitely like to know about it!

Also, the lost password page exhibits the same behaviour.

Note: I don't know what version we're running, since I can't log in to get information about the set-up. (Same with plug-ins, etc.)

PS: This really doesn't involve the wp-login plug-in (just the wp-login.php page); I edited away what I could that mentioned the plug-in, but some mentions remain. Sorry.

Turns out someone changed the WordPress Address http://lunkhouse.org to the same thing as the Site Address http://commonroot.net. So the login page at lunkhouse.org sent us to commonroot.net, which quietly redirected right back to lunkhouse.org (as intended); but then the log-in information was lost along the way. I changed it back by editing the SQL table. (I learnt a lot about how WordPress uses SQL over the past few days, looking for clues.)
